On July 1, 2014, management of the eXtensible Catalog project moved from the University of Rochester to the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois (CARLI). CARLI has been one of XC's largest supporters and funders (other than the University of Rochester and the Mellon Foundation), contributing leadership and support for additional Mellon funding as well as software development staff and infrastructure support. With this transition, CARLI has assumed following responsibilities from the XCO:
- Incorporating changes to the software that CARLI makes for its own use into new software releases, thus making their enhancements available to the XC community
- Evaluating and incorporating software contributed by others in the XC community
- Hosting the XC web site, the bug tracking system (Jira), email lists, and demo sites
If you have any questions about this web site, or about XC, please send an email to the email@example.com mailing list. To read the full announcement about the transfer of XC to CARLI, visit the XC mailing list archive at http://lists.xcproject.org/pipermail/general/2013-September/date.html.
